“We had a very nice stay in this lovely b&b. The location was great for starting the different hikes we made and thanks to the tips of Fran they were of beautiful scenery and great views, despite the rainy weather. Fran is a great cook and delivers warm & welcoming hospitality. The room was very clean and it had all we need. In 1 word, a perfect stay that we will remember with a smile.

“I had a lovely three- night stay in this beautifully situated, quiet and very well presented property. Fran gave me a very warm welcome and was very attentive throughout my stay. I particularly appreciated the lovely breakfast and the welcoming wood-burning stove in the evening. The great weather just added to the pleasure as the views from the breakfast room and bedroom are just stunning. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were clean and comfy.”

Gorgeous house with amazing view and lovely hosts

“Fran is an amazing host! She was very welcoming and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible! The breakfast was really good. She also offers dinner options, very handy!! Regarding the house, it's in an incredible location on the ring of Beara. The view from the place is gorgeous and it's only walking distance to a nice beach. There is everything you need in the house. We could definitely have stayed longer! I can only recommend this place!”

"Perfect Place for a Family Vacation"                'Our family of 5 spent 7 perfect days at Cappa House. The house is beautiful, very clean, with comfortable furniture and nice bedding. The kitchen has everything that you could need including good appliances. Fran, a wonderful host, has included small touches that you don't often find in a rental including a large DVD library, closet full of toys and board games. The location is perfect! The views are fantastic (much better than she could capture in the listing) and it's a lovely walk from the house through her farmland to the beach. The kids loved Fran's cows and were able to feed them every morning. The house is located on the Ring of Beara, which is breathtaking. We highly recommend Cappa House and hope to return on our next trip to Ireland.'

'Getting up early the first morning and looking out over the bay there was a beautiful rainbow. The bed had been very comfortable, the shower hot and now we made coffee in the spotless and well-appointed kitchen. Sitting down in the sunroom we drank our coffee and watched as showers and sunshine swept across the landscape alternating with rainbows. The walk to the beach took us past profuse banks of the orange lily Montbrecia and purple loosestrife. After a breathtakingly refreshing swim we went to pub in Eyeries for a couple of pints of Guiness - then 2 km back to Cappa house where we prepared a delicious Sunday dinner. Short excursions with the car (Ring of Beara) were very rewarding and certainly not as filled with tourist traffic as the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle peninsula - but certainly just as lovely.'

'What can I say? We had a brilliant time at Cappa house. The house was all comfortable, the rooms were tidy, the kitchen offered everything one can wish for. We felt cosy from the very beginning. Eyeries is a lovely place as is the whole of this magnificant peninsula. Cappa house provides amazing views especially when the sun sets. A million thanks to Fran who looked after us and made sure we'd find our way around. There was information on what to do on and around Beara and Fran also provided us with information on what was currently on in Beara (special thanks for the sheep dog - trial, I would not have wanted to miss out on that one!)Lovely house, a warm and welcoming hostess - we are certainly looking forward to our next visit! BRILLIANT, THANK YOU!'

'The owners: very welcoming, easy to communicate, flexible, helpful and friendly. The surroundings: amazing views, fresh breeze from the sea, private and peaceful. The house: spotlessly clean and VERY well-equipped especially kitchen, "like home", everything you need, lots of pillows, throws, candles, toiletries, enjoyable for kids (LOTS of DVDs, books and toys), information packs, good mattresses, bed linen and towels, 4 bathrooms, fireplace, barbeque and outside table, definitely 5* self-catering accommodation.'

"Perfect relaxing break"                                    'We came to Cappa House to escape stresses and strains at home. It certainly worked for us.The house is comfortable and well equipped. The view from the sun room is unbelievable and we sat in the evening as a family and watched spectacular sunsets. Fran is really helpful and friendly. The house is very suitable for a family get together. It is large and everyone has their own bathroom. We come to Beara quite a lot as we have family there. This is by far the best house we have stayed in. There are DVDs and books to see you through rainy days. The walk to the local beach is easy and it is very quiet when you get there. We only ever met cows. Our granddaughter really loved the cattle neighbours I thoroughly recommend a stay at Cappa House. '

'Recently spent a weekend at Cappa House, and must say is one of the nicest holiday homes I have been too. Attention to detail is impeccable, the finish of the house is very high quality, the place is spotless, and obviously no expense has been spared. Plenty room, ensuites with lovely power showers etc. I must also mention the location, it was my first time on the Beara pennisula, and if you love country walks, outstanding scenery and peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Would recommend to anyone.'

'We stayed for two weeks in Cappa House and it was a great choice. The house has a beautiful design in all rooms and is outfitted with everything one might possibly need. Its like a four star hotel really. Everything is clean, very comfortable and cosy with lots of wood and natural colors. Besides a fully equipped kitchen you even find a washing machine plus dryer in a very handy utility room next to the kitchen. Besides the cozy fireplace our favourite spot in the house was the sun room. Sitting there and watching the beach nearby, the little river running into the ocean, the coast, Eyeries and the islands in the Atlantic Ocean far away...how much better can it get. The little and pretty village of Eyeries is only a lovely 15 minute walk away (part of Beara Way) and with a car you can reach all the great spots on this beautiful Peninsula very easily.

This is a place we will definately add to our list of "Places to Visit Again"! '
